Introduction:
Arts and Design Club of IIIT Sri City will be a club acting as an umbrella to sub-wings of the club which are Art, Design, Multimedia and Decoration Clubs.
- To create opportunities to bring out the hidden talents of the students which are often suppressed due to lack of time.
- To buildup the culture of extra-curricular activities in the college.
Objectives:
1)Primary:
The purposes of IIIT Sri city Arts and Design Club shall include the following:
a) To provide students of the IIITS community an environment to enhance their artistic skills.
b) To promote our college outside Sri City.
c) To provide members of the club to show their skills to a wide range of people.
2)Secondary:
Following are the future plans of Arts and Design club:
- Expanding our events and exhibits to outside colleges too, by inviting them to come to art events which shall be held monthly.
- Contributing our exhibits in art exhibitions conducted in and around the country
- Expand the club to include more number of people contributing to the aesthetics of the campus.
Activities and Plan:
The Arts and Design club in the initial stages shall be doing the following activities:
- Taking up art projects which shall be dedicated to the college on completion. Core members and members with good prior experiences will be working on these projects. Other members of the club shall be taking up smaller tasks and slowly get into contributing to these big projects. (Projects - Canvas Art, Sculptures, Wall Art etc.)
- As a part of the multimedia club, designing of the college magazine would be the core component. Sessions will be handled and pointers will be provided to the students to drive them towards making the college magazine.
- Arts and Design Club intends to have a monthly event, where all the exhibits created by the members of the club are displayed.
- Theme based competitions will be held among the students to enhance the creativity of the students.
- Decoration activities will be handled by the club for the events.

Every week students are required to draw/design according to the theme(which is the in accordance to the signifcant days mentioned in the above tables.)
Code of Conduct:
Constitution of the Arts and Design club is divided into following sections:
1) Membership:
a) All those who are interested in either drawing, painting or digital art are welcome to approach the club. Minimum prior experience shall be a criteria for being a member of this club. However, people who are interested are surely welcome to come, learn, contribute and create.
b) The club will not discriminate based on any characteristics like gender, color, race, language, ethnicity, etc.
c) A club member should have active participation towards club activities.
d) A club member should also follow institute rules at any given time, else failure of the code of conduct will result in termination of one’s membership from club.
e) Equipment shall be provided by the club only on a condition that no damage shall be done to any of the products that belong to the club.
f) No member shall take any of the equipment with them without the permission of the core members of the club.
g) Digital certificates with star rating will be provided to the active members of the club.
2) Officers:
a) At minimum, the club will have two elected officers, the Coordinator and CoCoordinator, who must be current and distinct IIITS students.
b) The Coordinator may appoint additional officers as is required for the operation of the club. These appointments will become void with the cessation of duties by the appointing Coordinator.
3) Meetings:
a) The Coordinator shall call at least one general meeting per semester.
b) Meetings shall be presided over by the Coordinator, unless he or she is absent, in which case he or she shall choose another officer to preside.
c) All decisions shall be made by a majority vote of all members present, after the discussion in the format of ‘six thinking hats’ only.
4) Amendments:
a) Amendments to the code of conduct shall be presented by any member of the club.
b) Amendments to the Constitution shall be passed at a general meeting by majority vote of the members present.
c) The code of conduct may be amended by a majority vote in the executive committee, only when president or vice president are in support, in rest of the cases no change will be amended.
5) Budget:
An approximate capital budget of Rs 25,000 has been estimated for a count of 20 members.
