IIIT Sri City offers Undergraduate Programs focused on Information Technology – B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (250 seats) and B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (88 seats) IIIT Sri City adheres to Central Educational Institution Reservation as per Admission Act 2006. Admission is based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). BTech admissions into CSE and ECE programs are done through JoSAA. Based on the merit ranking in JEE Main, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) or the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) invites candidates for an online counselling session to choose the institute of their choice.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2022 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 114 institutes for the academic year 2022-23. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) was constituted by the Ministry of Education (Erstwhile Ministry of Human Resource Development) in 2013 to replace the Central Counseling Board (CCB). The CSAB is responsible for centralized counseling of all Engineering/Technology and Architecture/Planning undergraduate seats in NITs/ IIEST/ IIITs/ SPAs/ and a few other Technical Institutes funded fully or partially by the Central or State Government (Other-GFTIs), together called the NIT+ System. By order of the Ministry of Education, CSAB and the Joint Admission Board of IITs (JAB-IITs) together constituted a Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for joint counseling and seat allocation to IITs and the NIT+ System from the academic year 2015-16 onwards. The Seat Allocation to IITs is done based on the candidates’ JEE (Advanced) rank, while seat allocation to the NIT+ System is done based on the JEE (Main) rank.

Fee Structure for the academic year 2024-25- Semester I (Monsoon)

(Fee is applicable for all category of students)

Tuition Fee, Admission fee, Caution Deposit, Hostel Fee, Mess Fee and Medical facility at campus & Medical Insurance:

1) One-time payment:
a) Admission Fee Rs.17,000/- (non-refundable)
b) Caution Deposit Rs.20,000/- (Refundable at the end of the program)
c) Alumni Fee Rs.2,000/- (Non-refundable)
2) ) Per semester payable at the beginning of each semester of 4 months
a) Tuition Fee Rs.1,65,000/- per semester
b) Hostel Establishment Fee Rs.22,000/- per semester
c) Mess Fee Rs.20,000/- per semester
3) Per year payable at the beginning of Monsoon semester
Medical Facility at campus & Medical Insurance @ Rs.50,000/- SA per annum Rs. 2,600/- per year
Note: Fee (Tuition Fee, Hostel Fee, Mess Fee and Medical Facility at campus and Medical Insurance revisions are applicable from 2nd year onwards.
No fee will be refunded once the seat is accepted during JoSAA/CSAB 2024 counselling process and later cancelled by the candidate.
