From information technology to science, engineering and data analysis, coding skills play a crucial role in the economy. Coders work in the leading technology companies who have established operations in the world as well as in indigenous Global software companies.
Objectives:
- To develop better coding culture.
- Organise coding competitions and hackathons.
- Promoting various domains of programming and design.
- To tell the importance of digital footprint.
- To promote peer learning.
- To encourage contributions to non-profit and open source communities.
- Understanding and working of global forums (like Stack Overflows)
List of activities:
- Conducting workshops.
- Conducting coding competitions.
- Taking sessions on programming.
Requirements:
- Rooms for conducting sessions
- Budget to conduct workshops by external faculty.
- Printouts and papers for publicity to make the events little interactive.
