Objective
The Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab at IIIT Sri City is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of immersive technologies to enhance user experience across various domains. Our primary objectives include:
- Designing Immersive Experiences: Innovate and develop cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to create immersive, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.
- Enhancing User Interaction: Explore and implement advanced Game Design principles that promote interactive and adaptive learning, entertainment, and therapeutic applications.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) Integration: Leverage Natural Language Processing to improve human-computer communication, making interactions more natural, accessible, and efficient.
- Educational Innovation: Conduct research on the application of HCI in education, developing tools and platforms that support interactive learning and enhance educational outcomes.
- Healthcare and Disability Support: Research in the use of immersive technologies for healthcare solutions, particularly in areas such as rehabilitation, mental health, and disability support, to improve quality of life.
- Knowledge Dissemination: Share research findings through publications, workshops, and conferences, contributing to the global HCI community and influencing future technology development.
Through these objectives, the HCI Lab at IIIT Sri City aims to be a leader in the research and development of immersive technologies, making significant contributions to both academic knowledge and practical applications.
