The Art of Living
A MoU was signed between IIIT Sri City and The Art of Living on 07 December 2019 in the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of The Art of Living. Technological advancements should be for the benefit of Society including the future generations. There is need to manage social changes and regulate the future development and behavior of a society which is fully controlled by technological impacts. We need to achieve synergy between newer technologies and well-being of society. While the education system mainly focuses on building technical prowess, there is an important need to educate the students and researchers about the social impact of such technological advancements.
As per the MoU, The Art of Living shall conduct credited course on “Foundation In Human Values” to the BTech students of IIIT Sri City and conduct special sessions to faculty and other stakeholders.
Gurudev believed that the MoU between Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City and The Art of Living shall enable students with the apt social and human values for them to graduate as a wholistic and socially responsible individual.
